Training Delivery

We don't training manuals instead we create learning events that we adapt to the needs of the group on the day. No two events will ever be the same - but the objectives will always be achieved.
Our job is to present information and create a safe space for people to develop their skills. Sustaining group safety is the most important part of training, team development and group work. An important element of this for us is the establishment of Ground Rules at the beginning of a session.
We normally work with small groups of up to 15 people structuring a learning environment and process that will enable people to test out information and practice skills in a safe atmosphere.
Lectures are kept to a minimum and all sessions are highly interactive, delivered in an informal way. We avoid training by anecdote - our job is to get people to reflect on their own practice rather than say what we would do in the situation.
Theory and good practice are presented to give a basis for all work. Case studies, games and simulations are used extensively and role plays are avoided.
Extensive discussion is encouraged to ensure that people have a chance to discuss their working practice and integrate
We are never the source of all wisdom - this mans that people get a chance to learn at their own speed and in a way that they will enjoy.
People also learn better of they are having a good time. Children learn through play - people on our courses spend a lot of time laughing.
