Commissioning Us

Please send me an email using the link at the bottom of the page if you are interested in commissioning a course. If I am unable to help you I may be able to suggest another trainer or organisation.

Group size
On the whole experiential learning works best in groups of between six and fifteen.

Venue
You may want to consider what kind of venue is appropriate. It is normally useful to take people out of their normal working environment and as far away from the phone as possible.
It may also be good if people feel a bit spoiled because this is happening for them

Booking ahead
Clearly the more time there is to prepare, the better – normally it takes a minimum of six weeks for a course to take place.

In addition, there are some questions that it is worthwhile to work through before contacting a trainer. The more information you have the better chance there is of getting a tight fit between what you are expecting and what the trainer can actually deliver.

We are happy to work through these questions with you - and if necessary - we will carry out a training needs analysis.

  • Have you got a training need? What has happened that has persuaded you to go for training now?

  • How precisely can you define what you want people to do when they have completed the learning?

  • Where do you want the event to take place?

  • What commitment has to be made by management to enable the desired changes to take place?

  • What is the likely cost to me if I don't go with the training?

  • How can I be confident that I have got the right trainer?

  • How does the proposed training fit in with the organisation's business plan?

  • How will we evaluate the success of the programme?

  • How do people in your organisation learn best?

  • Are there any policy frameworks or other changes that need to be developed before the training event happens?.
