Rationale, |
Workers are in a position to be a role model for a range of positive attitudes and behaviours that can assist clients in changing their behaviour, through the assessment, care planning and key working process.
This two day course looks at how developing positive relationships with clients can facilitate the development of honesty and trust and can help orientate them towards solutions to their problems in a way that is challenging, within an atmosphere of genuine support.
In order to do this workers need to have particular skills, knowledge and values that can help facilitate behaviour change for service users. This course will provide an introduction into how to work most effectively with clients to develop positive outcomes. |
