We have delivered several programmes designed to enable generic community workers to support individual with a range of mental health issues in the community. These groups have included health visitors and GPs. |
The programmes cover the core skills required to enable people to find the strength they need to thrive. This can be particularly important for people who are stranded on waiting lists or do not fit into categories normally seen by workers like Community Mental Health Teams. | Identify appropriate self-help resources they may be able to access. |
| Make an appropriate referral to statutory or voluntary sector bodies |
