EATA the (European Association for the Treatment of Addiction) is a charity working to help ensure people with substance dependencies get the treatment they need. We work with providers, referrers, commissioners and policy makers to improve access and quality in the rehabilitative treatment of substance dependency.

DrugScope is the UK's leading independent centre of expertise on drugs; it's aim is to inform policy development and reduce drug-related risk. Its library and information service gives access to the largest library of English language materials on drug issues spanning four decades.

User Organisations

The Alliance (formerly the Methadone Alliance). The Alliance is a national organisation which exists to support people who are either in treatment or seeking help for drug dependency. It runs an advocacy service and if you have problems with a service is a place to go for practical support.

The Users' Voice. The magazine of the John Mordaunt Trust- it  provides a health and policy forum for/by drug-users and actively pursues harm reduction goals.

NTA The National Treatment Agency is the England wide body looking at treatment organisations throughout England.

COCA, the Conference on Cocaine Abuse National charity looking at issues to do with crack and cocaine usage.

KFx is a drug consultancy initiative run by Kevin Flemen -the site provides authoritative information on  a range of topics especially the law.

British Liver Trust is a major source of information on Hepatitis related illnesses
