Objectives

By the end of the day participants will be able to:-

• Identify the core reasons they are working in the sector
• Describe the impact they want their team to have.
• Identify how they want their team to work together.
• Examine the resources they have to help them meet their goals.

Session one: Why work in the sector

A chance for people to discuss their involvement in the sector and what motivates them as individuals.

Session two - the impact

An opportunity to look at the context in which they are operating and the difference they want their team to make so that they have a sense of where they are going.

Session three - values

Participants will be asked to explore their value base and what this means for their relationships with each other and their clients - this will produce an organisational working agreement.

Session four - resources

Based on what has gone before, participants will be able to look at the range of different types of resources that they have available to help them make the impact they are looking to achieve - they will also be able to action plan what this means for them.
