Creating Teams
Teams don’t just happen. They can be a source of delight - a chance to share resources to achieve astonishing outcomes - but for many people they are a source of frustration and anger.
For any team to work well certain things need to be in place. If they are not - all misery can break loose. A clear vision of what the team is trying to achieve. Sharp objectives so that the team can measure its success. Clear roles so that individuals know what their responsibility is and how their unique contribution to the team adds to its overall success. Ground rules so that people have a clear idea about how to behave and mechanisms for resolving conflicts. Communication structures so that information flows to people who need it, so they are informed on how to work well and how to communicate difficult issues that hamper performance.
Diagnostics We will speak to as many of the people involved as possible to enable the design of the team development to be as matched to your needs as possible. Delivery The events take place in venues of your choice. The aim is nearly always to clarify team goals, objectives and to facilitate good communication amongst team members. This is feasible even when there is a history of prolonged rivalries and bitterness. Relationships are restored and new ways of working are facilitated. Click here for a sample programme. |
